Sat 29 Sept 2012: Lá Gaeilge
Pat Murphy and I organised an Irish language day at Nottingham Irish Centre. Christy Evans from Coláiste na nGael worked with the advanced group and Pat and I with beginners and returners. Gone to the Dogs played traditional Irish music in the evening. It was a very enjoyable event with a nice friendly atmosphere, and the Irish Centre provided good food.

Pat Murphy and I ran informal Irish language classes in Nottingham and Mansfield for a few years. These have ceased for the moment, but we run occasional  one-off Gaeilge  sessions, especially around St Patrick’s Day.
