Deirdre I am a young 70 years of age one of my things I always always wanted to do do is To learn Irish I live in Lincoln born in Dublin I will travel to Nottingham I tried learning In Lincoln I found it so hard all the other students were young I felt so out of place they made me so welcome please let me know if you are starting Irish classes again regards tom

    • Thomas, I’m sorry you’ve had difficulties in Lincoln. We also had problems in Nottingham, as the numbers were so small it was not worth our continuing with the Irish language classes. It was far too much work, in preparation and delivery, and as attendance was irregular, we were repeating the same material but making little progress. There are lots of resources online, but sorry we in Nottingham can’t be of any help.
