The event will take place at 2.30pm at Kingsthorpe Cemetry, Northamption, where Lucia, daughter of James Joyce, is buried. Supported by Connolly Association and Triskellion Theatre Company.

Sat 30 June: Lowdham Book Festival, famous Last Saturday – free all day. Deirdre O’Byrne will talk on developments in recent Irish fiction, discussing writers such as Eimear McBride, Sara Baume, Kevin Barry and Sally Rooney. Time tbc.

Series of talks on Irish Studies
We’ve booked 3 dates in September for Irish Studies talks at Five Leaves Bookshop. Watch this space.
We’re continuing to work on developing the history of the Irish in the region, investigating Irish vagrant users of Southwell Workhouse (now a museum). We are working with drama practitioners and creative writers on a collaborative project.
